2nd Annual Strawberry Festival

Celebrate summer in the Northeast Kingdom at the Strawberry Festival! Held in beautiful Gardner Park alongside the Newport Farmers Market. Enjoy fresh strawberry shortcake topped with local berries and real whipped cream, browse local vendors, and spend the day with friends, family, and neighbors in one of Newport's favorite gathering spots.

This year's festival will feature a pie baking contest, a pie auction, and NEW for 2026, a Strawberry Costume Contest! Whether you come dressed as your favorite berry, enter a homemade pie, win an auction, or just stop by for a sweet treat and good company, everyone is welcome to join the fun.
